Account Executive (Mid-Market)

Why HOVER wants you: 

We’re looking for an exceptional salesperson to focus on our highest growth market of customers. The successful candidate will understand their customers’ business objectives and act as their trusted advisor for all things HOVER. The candidate will have experience doing problem-centric discovery and utilizing solution selling. This is a hunting role with the primary focus on acquisition of new logos and working to expose our comprehensive, feature rich platform. It’s important to note that this is a high velocity selling environment so your ability to balance all of the above will be critical to your success. 

You will contribute by: 

Helping serve others around you both internally and externally to strengthen our already incredible culture and position in the market. Communicating authentically with your peers and leadership to help identify blind spots and present solutions to help us continue to improve the business. Lead by example by simultaneously living our values, hitting your targets, and having a growth mindset so you can grow both personally and professionally. Last but not least, effectively articulate the vision of HOVER with executives within Home Improvement Organizations to help them understand how we’re the best partner for them both near and long term to serve their customers. 

Your background includes:  

  • 5+ years of quota carrying field sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • 3+ years of technology sales experience in a high velocity environment, or equivalent EHI industry experience
  • Ability to communication effectively and work cross-functionally with other internal organizations
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Strong prioritization, territory planning, and team-selling experience
  • Strong track record of navigating within large and mid-market organizations, developing  senior level relationships quickly and effectively
  • Experience presenting to senior managers and the C-suite
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying process
  • Active interest in increasing customer satisfaction and deepening customer relationships
  • Knowledge of content management, cloud, or other complex SaaS applications preferred
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS vendors preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Some travel eventually required
