IT Administrator

HOVER is looking for someone committed to deliver excellent customer support and who will be the first point of contact for all IT issues of a company of 300 US-based employees. We’re looking for someone with an outstanding customer support mindset and ability to roll up the sleeves and think outside the box while offering a cheerful service at each and every problem. HOVER is a growing organization, and over time, the new team member will not only need to support ongoing operations but will participate in its growth by being creative in anticipating future needs. The IT Administrator will play an important part in upholding the integrity of the company’s IT infrastructure and throughout the entire organization.

You will contribute by:

Helpdesk Support & Administration 

  • Provide front-line helpdesk support to end users locally and remotely
  • Support Executive staff 
  • Be a self-starter, take ownership of issues, and drive them to resolution
  • Be highly detailed oriented with a high sense of urgency
  • Help define and document best practices, solutions, and support procedures
  • Guide new employees through our new hire IT process
  • Deploy new hardware and software, and perform maintenance on existing equipment
  • Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the company
  • Flexible, adaptable, and ambitious working in a fast-moving environment
  • Flexible, willing, and open to provide after-hours support

Infrastructure Support & Administration

  • Administer and maintain office infrastructure and “all-hands” spaces including Zoom Rooms, and audio/video solutions
  • Asset tracking for offices and support in inventory management
  • Work closely with other teams on maintenance of company physical infrastructure

Your background includes:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting at least 200+ end users in a fast growing start-up environment; predominantly in Mac OS with some Windows
  • Cloud first thinking with experience working with latest cloud and SaaS technologies
  • 3+ years of experience in administration and support of Jamf, G-Suite, Okta, Intune, Salesforce, etc.
  • Understanding of basic security configurations and protocols 
  • Knowledge in setting up and troubleshooting devices
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
  • A history of successfully achieving results while working individually and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to reach goals and solutions with a “do-er” attitude
  • Desire to grow through continuous improvement and achieve personal mastery
  • Strong interest and positive attitude in helping others by addressing tech needs of various complexities

Nice to have:

  • SOC2 or other/security audit support experience
  • Basic  computer scripting language skills
  • Endpoint vulnerability detection and remediation experience: EDR, Crowdstrike Falcon, etc.
  • AtSpoke ticket processing
  • Wireless network configuration management experience
