HOVER is looking for a second line sales leader who can build and manage teams of managers and sales reps responsible for new and existing business in the Insurance vertical; one of our fastest growing verticals. These teams focus on cultivating relationships to help close new logo opportunities, and drive growth within our existing customer base. You will join a team of highly motivated and energetic sales professionals that take pride in running consultative sales processes and delivering our vision.
Our ideal candidate is a systems thinker, strategic builder, and a sound operator who will be the voice to represent the vertical internally and externally. We want a highly emotionally intelligent, mission-driven leader who will set and refine strategy, own revenue targets, implement repeatable processes, and partner well cross functionally with other departments.
You will contribute by:
As a Director of Sales, you will manage and lead a sales team focused on new business, existing business, and our user enablement and activation efforts. You will hire, coach, and retain top leadership and sales talent. You will work with your leaders to ensure they are managing forecasting, account assignment and quota achievement for their team of sellers. You’ll partner closely with your managers to make sure their teams strategize about deal discovery, account penetration, and tactics to help close business. You’ll work cross-functionally with departments within HOVER to identify obstacles and inefficiencies, create motivating compensation plans, and implement new sales initiatives to increase organizational efficiency. Additionally, you will utilize data to help refine and optimize sales motions, drive top-of-funnel leads, and ultimately build a powerful, predictable, and scalable machine.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with Colorado law, the base salary for this role if filled within the Denver Metropolitan area is $150,000-$177,000.
