HOVER uses patented technology making it possible for anyone with a smartphone camera to create an interactive 3D model, complete with detailed measurements and powerful design features. The data produced is extremely valuable as it generates a single source of truth for the physical world allowing for more veracity throughout the home improvement and insurance processes. We’ve found an incredibly strong product-market fit across exterior home improvement, insurance, and financial services. What's the secret sauce? Cutting edge technology, an exceptional culture, and a commitment to our values (Think. Do. Serve.).

With our team of investors, including Google Ventures and Menlo Ventures, HOVER is committed to continuing our success and facilitating growth. We believe there is strength in diversity so we hire skilled and passionate people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Why HOVER wants you:

HOVER is looking for a data-driven problem solver with a knack for thinking outside the box. This role requires the ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct meaningful analyses, and drive alignment across functions and within the Executive team. Your background likely includes some combination of Go-To-Market analytics/insights, management consulting, business/revenue operations, and/or strategy that leaves you hungry for a role that covers a broad scope and provides an opportunity to drive an outsized impact within the company.

Our Revenue Analytics & Strategy Team partners across all of our Go-To-Market functions, including Sales, Marketing, Growth, and Customer Operations.  Our business is growing quickly, and a large part of our success thus far has been using data to drive our most crucial decisions, and this is exactly where you come in.

You will contribute by:

Many analytics roles often leave people feeling like they are just churning out infinite dashboards, but not this one. Instead of just executing on a big list of ‘Asks,’ you’ll be operating as an internal strategic consultant across teams to help them ask the right questions, build data driven narratives to answer those questions, and then align stakeholders on the right decisions at the times when they matter most.

Comfortable in ambiguity, but technical enough to go deep once we have a path, you will thrive at both the whiteboard for kicking off the discovery process and also at the keyboard for digging into the heavy analyses.  An experienced story teller, you will be someone who non-data-literate coworkers go to in order to seek help breaking down challenging issues quantitatively, which sometimes might mean a quick back-of-the-envelope rough pass in 15 minutes, and other times might mean leading a 3 month cross functional project.

You’ll be biased towards action, always excited to play devil’s advocate, and you’ll iterate until things are looking good, but you’ll also know when things are ‘good enough’ and it’s time to move your focus elsewhere.  You’ll know the size, shape, and scope of our business better than anyone else, and this intuitive understanding of the numbers will be your superpower in group collaborations.

Success here will rely just as much on your former career experience as it does your creativity.

Your background includes:

  • 4+ years of work experience in data analytics, management consulting, business/revenue operations, strategy, or similar functions
  • Experience cultivating broad business acumen and the ability to synthesize large amounts of information quickly and get-to-the-point
  • Experience leading projects and driving your own workstreams independently
  • Experience framing and presenting data-backed stories to senior audiences and cross-functional groups
  • Experience operating in an 80/20 mindset and ruthlessly prioritizing your time when there are far too many exciting and impactful things available to work on
  • Deep experience with SQL or Tableau (bonus points if comfortable with both!)

Benefits:

  • Compensation - Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a fast-growing company
  • Healthcare - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents
  • Paid Time Off - Unlimited and flexible vacation policy
  • Paid Family Leave- We support work/life balance and offer generous paid parental and new child bonding leave
  • Mandatory Self-Care Days - A day set aside each month to allow employees to recharge
  • Remote Wellbeing Resources - We provide recurring fitness classes, meditation/ mindfulness tools, virtual therapy, and family planning assistance
  • Learning - We encourage continued education and will help cover the cost of management training, conferences, workshops, or certifications
