Why HOVER wants you:

HOVER is looking for a leader to own the end-to-end experience for the professionals in the exterior home improvement vertical. You will help HOVER develop a scalable and repeatable business model. You’ll partner closely with design, engineering, data, marketing, sales, and others to craft the vision and strategy to materialize the value of our innovative technology. 

Your background will likely include leading either a B2B or a marketplace product at scale which left you wanting to do it again. You will be leading innovation in new markets, delivering customer impact, and scaling that solution with a delightful user experience.

You'll contribute by:

You’ll set the product vision and strategy to scale our end-to-end platform for professionals. You will partner with other product leaders to own the entire product roadmap for how the remodeling industry can be disrupted through technology. As part of that, you’ll inspire your team to do their best work, determine the metrics that define success, grow other PMs, hire the best talent, and build a lasting culture. You’ll communicate your vision, plans, and impact to various levels of management, including our executive team. You will act like a business owner for the exterior home improvement vertical owning Product development, GTM motions, and P&L among other things. 

Your background includes:

  • 10+ years of experience in product
  • Proven track record (3-5 years) of hiring, developing, and retaining world-class product managers. Is able to attract Product Management talent through their extensive network. Past direct reports are passionate about working with them.
  • You’re an inspiring leader who provides day-to-day support for the team, especially during times of change and high ambiguity.
  • You’re an extraordinarily fast learner. You have a natural curiosity and intellectual horsepower to deeply understand new topics and pick up new skills in a very short time.
  • You have strong analytical abilities, which you use to accelerate learning and impact 
  • You are relentlessly resourceful. When something needs to get done, you always find a way to make it happen. Even when the work is hard, you have the drive to power through it and execute with limited information.
  • You are a creative problem-solver. You excel at identifying unintuitive solutions to tough problems.
  • You are passionate. You are optimistic with positive energy that other people draw upon. You combine that with a high level of emotional intelligence and refined soft skills
  • You care deeply about developing products and solutions that will create the best experience for our customers.
  • Outstanding communicator. Ability to present your ideas, finding, and recommendations to anyone, at any time.
