HOVER is looking for an analytical and creative leader to drive our pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy.  This role requires the ability to think critically about ambiguous problems, conduct meaningful analyses that lead to actionable insights, and drive alignment across functions and within the Executive team.  Your background likely includes some combination of management consulting, business operations, analytics, and similar broad spectrum experience that leaves you hungry for a role with the opportunity to drive an outsized impact within the company.

Our Monetization Strategy team partners across our Sales, Finance, Product, Business Development, and Marketing teams to drive deal strategy, determine the pricing strategy for new products, and evolve our business model.  While pricing and packaging are key growth levers that are underutilized by most scaling companies, at HOVER, we view these levers as key to our success. Our company is growing quickly, launching new offerings and expanding into new markets; we need a leader with both analytical and creative expertise who can drive the decision making that will help us achieve our revenue goals – that’s where you come in!

How you will contribute:

As a Monetization Strategy Manager, you will be joining a high performing team reporting to the Director of Monetization Strategy.  We are looking for someone with an ownership mentality who is excited by the idea of acting both operationally (to tactically get-things-done each week) and strategically (to scale our business in the right ways long term).  You will collaborate closely with our Go to Market and Finance teams to structure winning deals with our customers and partners.  You will ideate on and execute pricing tests and experiments to collect data that will drive the evolution of our pricing and packaging strategy.  You will conduct customer research studies and data analysis to provide the business with both a qualitative and quantitative understanding of our customers.  By doing all of this, you will become an expert on our customers and leverage that understanding to drive the pricing & packaging strategy that will unlock our company’s growth potential.  

This is an exciting role with a high degree of autonomy and where creativity and cross functional collaboration are going to be just as important as analytical chops and pricing acumen.

Your background includes:  

  • 5+ years experience in Analytics, Insights, Product Management, Strategy, Management Consulting, or similar functions
  • Experience cultivating broad product acumen and the ability to synthesize large amounts of information quickly and get-to-the-point
  • Experience leading group projects and enabling progress across multiple people’s work streams simultaneously
  • Experience framing and presenting data-driven stories to senior audiences and cross-functional groups
  • Experience operating in an 80/20 mindset and ruthlessly prioritizing your time when there are far too many exciting and impactful things available to work on
  • Deep experience and comfort with SQL and/or Tableau
