HOVER is looking for a full stack engineer to join the Growth team — a cross-functional group of marketers, operations experts, and hackers — to maximize HOVER’s customer base and revenue.
Successful candidates will thrive in ambiguity, be able to easily structure complex problems and implement technical solutions — whether that means building an MVP product for a new vertical or setting up a new marketing tool to enable others on the team to move faster. We’re looking for someone data-driven and with a ‘experiment-first/iterative’ mindset when it comes to driving results.
Finally, the ideal candidate will be self-driven and organized, able to conceptualize long-term opportunities and dictate their roadmap to realize those opportunities. As importantly, they should be able to communicate their complex projects to non-technical stakeholders.
You will contribute by:
First and foremost, you’ll have a strong understanding of the customer, their pain points, and how we can solve those through developing new features and MVPs in our web and mobile apps. You’ll be responsible for coming up with ideas, prioritizing them based on their impact to both the business and customers, and executing those ideas.
You’ll work closely with the rest of the Growth and Data team to build out and maintain our attribution and marketing technology systems to facilitate experimentation across the team. This will sometimes mean helping set up a completely new tool for the team or adding additional data traits to existing infrastructure (e.g., Braze).
