Why HOVER wants you:
HOVER is looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive the product-led growth at HOVER. You will be focused on driving business outcomes across HOVER’s entire product suite and will help drive the end-to-end experience of connecting professionals and homeowners in their home improvement projects. This is an opportunity to revolutionize the home improvement market by putting homeowners. You’ll partner closely with design, engineering, research, data, marketing, and others to decide on the highest impact initiatives—then proceed with designing experiments, shipping improvements, and measuring results.
How you’ll succeed
You’ll own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of key growth product initiatives focused on unlocking remarkable experiences for our users. You will find a balance between moving extremely quickly while still facilitating effective collaboration across the business, both within other cross-functional product teams and the broader business. To do so, you will instrument the user journey, find places where there could be friction, and build innovative products & features to speed our users toward their goals. You’ll be able to reconcile challenging opinions with data to consistently generate buy-in on initiatives.
While you will be empowered to define the best customers and solutions to pursue, you will also be held accountable for results – not just shipping product but business outcomes. Rather than shy away from this you will embrace it, especially when it means you will have to work through others to achieve those results.
This job, as with nearly all other roles on the product team, is an individual contributor role. You will need to be able to influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of data and logical product thinking.
