<p>Hover is looking for a seasoned sales leader who can build and manage teams of managers and sales reps responsible for new and existing business in the Construction vertical; our largest revenue driving vertical. This person will lead the Small Business team; the fastest growing segment in Construction. This position will be responsible for frontline sales leadership while also managing second-line managers. You will join a team of highly motivated and energetic sales professionals that take pride in running high velocity sales processes and delivering our vision.</p>
<p>Our ideal candidate is a systems thinker, strategic builder, and a sound operator who will be the voice to represent the segment internally and externally. We want a highly emotionally intelligent, mission-driven leader who will set and refine strategy, own revenue targets, implement repeatable processes, and partner well cross functionally with other departments. </p>
<p><strong>You will contribute by:</strong> </p>
<p>As the Director of Small Business Sales, will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and developing strategic initiatives for our fastest-growing segment. You will manage and own all Small Business revenue and lead a sales team focused on new business, existing business, and user enablement and activation efforts. You will hire, coach, and retain top sales talent. You will partner closely with your manager and team to strategize about deal discovery, account penetration, and tactics to help close business. You’ll work cross-functionally with departments within Hover to identify obstacles and inefficiencies, create motivating compensation plans, and implement new sales initiatives to increase organizational efficiency. Additionally, you will utilize data to help refine and optimize sales motions, drive top-of-funnel leads, and ultimately build a powerful, predictable, and scalable machine.</p>
<p><strong>Your background includes: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>8+ years of experience in sales, with at least 4 years in a management role focused on small business accounts</li>
<li>Second line leadership experience preferred</li>
<li>Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth</li>
<li>Growth and leadership mindset and a solutions oriented approach</li>
<li>Effective communicator with a high EQ and empathetic style</li>
<li>Strong people management, coaching, and development experience </li>
<li>Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.</li>
<li>Strong prioritization, territory planning, and team-selling experience</li>
<li>Takes an active interest in increasing customer satisfaction and deepening customer relationships</li>
<li>Managing remote sales reps, and previous entrepreneurial experience are bonuses</li>

<p><em>Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles. <strong>This role is located in our New York City hub. </strong></em></p>
<p><em>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $178,000-$203,000 + commission annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.</em></p>
