Position Overview
We’re looking for a strategic, inspiring, and results-driven sales leader to take Hover’s Large, Field and SDR teams to the next level. This is not your run-of-the-mill sales leadership role. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to architect scalable systems, coach exceptional talent, and harmonize our customer journey across product, marketing, and sales. You’ll be a key driver in integrating tech, data, and people to accelerate growth and deepen customer value.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to own your vertical’s sales strategy, manage and develop sales leaders to run their teams, and maintain operational rigor across the greater sales organization. You'll also have the chance to work cross-functionally with our Product and Executive Leadership teams to define opportunities to breach new markets and shape the potential and product-market fit of our solutions. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who has a strong leadership philosophy to build and develop a team of dynamic sales reps who contribute to a critical revenue stream for Hover.

- Lead with vision and purpose: Inspire, mentor, and manage high-performing sales teams—fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous learning.
- Architect growth: Design and execute strategic initiatives that combine product-led, marketing-led, and sales-assisted growth tactics.
- Champion the customer: Partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure the sales process is aligned with customer success at every touchpoint.
- Scale smart: Leverage automation, modern sales tech stacks, and AI-driven tools to streamline processes, optimize performance, and increase conversion.
- Fuel innovation: Drive cross-functional go-to-market strategies, especially around new product launches and expansion into emerging markets.
Your background includes
- 8+ years of sales leadership experience in high-growth, disruptive, tech-forward environments.
- A proven track record of scaling sales teams, building repeatable systems, and exceeding ambitious revenue targets.
- Deep expertise in systems, processes and automation, with a knack for turning strategy into execution.
- A collaborative mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for building relationships across the org.
- Fluency in using CRM systems, sales automation tools, and performance analytics to inform decisions.
- A love for innovation and a bias for action.

Hybrid roles at Hover
Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $199,000-$227,000 with an OTE of $398,000-$454,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
