Hover is looking for a strategic, proactive Executive Assistant who can amplify the impact of our VP of Business Operations & Growth and help the organization operate with greater clarity, speed, and focus. You understand what excellent executive partnership looks like and can help shape the standard for how EAs operate and add value across Hover. You will contribute by
You’ll be a force-multiplier for the VP of Business Operations & Growth, optimizing time, driving alignment, and ensuring the most important work moves forward without friction. You’ll own the operating rhythms that keep the team organized, from strategic calendaring and meeting prep to cross-functional coordination and follow-through. You’ll synthesize information across channels, ensure stakeholders are aligned, and proactively resolve issues before they escalate. And as part of a collaborative, low-ego EA cohort, you’ll help define and elevate EA standards across Hover while strengthening connection between teams.
Key contributions include:
- Managing and optimizing complex calendars, priorities, and travel.
- Preparing briefs, agendas, and follow-ups that drive clarity and action.
- Coordinating cross-functional initiatives, planning cadences, and events.
- Planning and coordinating in-person team onsites and workshops for both small and large groups.
- Improving workflows, tools, and systems to streamline how the org operates.
- Partnering with the EA team to share best practices and provide coverage as needed.
Your background includes
- 5+ years supporting senior executives in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.
- Strength in anticipating needs, solving problems proactively, and exercising sound judgment.
- High proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and modern productivity tools.
- Clear, concise communication and the ability to synthesize information across teams.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills, especially when navigating shifting deadlines.
- Collaborative, low-ego working style with high EQ — and a steady sense of humor.

Hybrid roles at Hover
Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles. This role will be based in our San Francisco office.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000 - $151,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
