Hover is hiring a Senior Director, Growth Marketing to rebuild and lead our growth marketing function at a pivotal stage of company growth. This is a rare opportunity to build the engine, not just run it: you’ll shape strategy, define where we invest, and create a more predictable model for how growth marketing drives pipeline and revenue.

You will contribute by

  • Rebuild Hover’s growth marketing foundation across organic, paid, and sales-aligned motions.
  • Drive measurable pipeline and revenue contribution, with particular emphasis on SEO and SEM.
  • Establish a clear measurement framework that connects marketing activity to pipeline, CAC, and revenue.
  • Lead and develop the initial team while building the case for future scale.
  • Audit existing channels, attribution, and performance to determine where to invest for the highest impact.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, PLG, PMM, and leadership to align strategy and execution.
  • Stand up durable growth infrastructure and make smart early martech decisions.

Your background includes

  • Experience leading growth in a company with a mixed GTM motion across PLG, sales-led, and paid channels
  • Deep hands-on experience with attribution, measurement, and marketing ops infrastructure
  • Strong depth in performance and organic growth, especially SEO and SEM
  • Experience partnering with Sales to drive pipeline, including ABM or other sales-aligned growth motions
  • A track record of operating effectively in ambiguity and building functions from the ground up

Nice to have:

  • Series B or C experience
  • Marketplace or blended B2B/B2C experience
  • Experience inheriting fragmented systems and building rigor quickly

Hybrid roles at Hover

Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is

$235,000 - $291,000

 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
