Think
We are only as good as the questions we’re willing to ask, the debates we’re willing to have, the blind spots we’re willing to face. Our unique thinking results in unique products that are changing the world.
Do
We make things happen and prioritize progress over perfection. Ownership and accountability are at the core of how we operate. We take initiative without waiting for direction.
Serve
Here, we serve. We serve our mission. Our leaders serve their teams. Our teams serve each other. We remain humble and always remember that the team is more important than any one individual.
“We aim to build a different kind of company. I’ll stack our team against any, and fight with a happy heart knowing we can’t lose if we stick to our shared values.”“We aim to build a different kind of company. Roles
San Francisco/New York—Engineering
At Hover, we’re delivering modern tools for industries long underserved by software. We’re looking for a Staff Engineer who can lead through influence, navigate ambiguity, and help guide our vertical toward scalable, reliable, and impactful solutions. This role is more than writing great code. We’re looking for someone who can help us design systems and workflows used daily by contractors, adjusters, and claims professionals—people whose work directly impacts homeowners during high-stakes moments. You’ll bring a product mindset, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to connect the dots across services, domains, and teams.
If you’ve built high-quality customer-facing software before—especially in fast-paced or high-accountability environments—and you’re excited to lead large-scale efforts that combine technical depth with product nuance, we want to work with you.
San Francisco/New York—Sales
We’re looking for a strategic, inspiring, and results-driven sales leader to take Hover’s Large, Field and SDR teams to the next level. This is not your run-of-the-mill sales leadership role. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to architect scalable systems, coach exceptional talent, and harmonize our customer journey across product, marketing, and sales. You’ll be a key driver in integrating tech, data, and people to accelerate growth and deepen customer value.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to own your vertical’s sales strategy, manage and develop sales leaders to run their teams, and maintain operational rigor across the greater sales organization. You'll also have the chance to work cross-functionally with our Product and Executive Leadership teams to define opportunities to breach new markets and shape the potential and product-market fit of our solutions. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who has a strong leadership philosophy to build and develop a team of dynamic sales reps who contribute to a critical revenue stream for Hover.
San Francisco/New York—Engineering
Our Computer Vision team has doubled in size over the past year, and we’re looking for a strong engineering manager to keep that momentum healthy and sustainable. You’ll partner with our current CV leader to split the growing roster into focused pods, establish clear ownership boundaries, and ensure the team’s research breakthroughs continue to land in production on predictable cadences.
In this role, you’ll hire, coach, and retain top vision talent. By running clear onboarding, growth plans, and regular feedback loops, you’ll foster a culture where senior ICs level up, future leaders emerge, and every engineer feels empowered to deliver at scale.
San Francisco/New York—Engineering
Computer Vision doesn’t just power Hover’s products—it defines them. As we scale our 3D data platform from millions to billions of surfaces, we need a staff-level technical leader who can translate cutting-edge research into durable product capabilities and partner shoulder-to-shoulder with Product Management to decide what we build next. You’ll be the connective tissue between long-term vision, day-to-day engineering, and market-driven product strategy, ensuring that our CV roadmap delivers maximum business and customer impact.
San Francisco/New York—Engineering
At Hover, we’re building modern tools that simplify complex workflows in the construction and insurance industries. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Construction vertical—someone who’s excited to work on real-world problems and ship software that helps thousands of pros scope jobs, plan projects, and deliver better outcomes for homeowners.
You’ll bring strong technical fundamentals, product thinking, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll take ownership of features end-to-end, help shape how we build, and grow your leadership through influence—not just code. This role is ideal for someone ready to step into more responsibility, drive outcomes with cross-functional partners, and contribute to the technical roadmap of a high-impact team.

Merit cycles
We run two merit cycles a year for non-quota carrying employees, typically at the end of Q1 and Q3, following a performance review cycle. Employees with at least 2 months tenure before the start of the merit cycle are eligible to participate. Quota carrying employees participate in one cycle per year.
Growing together
