Hover is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Infrastructure and Security team and help shape how engineering scales as our systems grow in complexity. This role sits at the intersection of DevOps, internal platform development, security engineering, and applied research. We don’t treat Infrastructure as a cost center or a ticket-taking IT function, we treat it as a product team. Your customers are our Product Engineers building customer-facing web applications, and our Research Scientists developing Generative models and Computer Vision systems. Your product is the platform that enables them to ship code safely, quickly, and reliably, even as our technical complexity increases.

As an Engineering Manager, you’ll stay close to the code while taking on real ownership over systems that power the rest of engineering. Our product teams ship web apps; our research teams train large, GPU-intensive models, and today the highest friction lives at the boundary between experimentation and production. We want you to help bridge that gap by building tooling and defaults that make security, deployment, and scale feel seamless rather than burdensome. Your success won’t be measured by how many tickets you close, but by the leverage you create: faster iteration, fewer sharp edges, and an infrastructure platform that engineers trust and enjoy using.

As our Senior Engineering Manager, 3D Modeling, you’ll lead the team responsible for Hover’s modeling pipeline—the backbone of our products. This is one of the most impactful teams at Hover, powering everything that needs a 3D digital twin of a building to power it. You’ll guide a world-class team tackling challenges at the intersection of machine learning, computer vision, and 3D modeling.

The Modeling Pipeline team builds the tools that transform customer captured data into highly accurate and detailed 3D models of buildings. We are also responsible for developing the pipeline and systems that process 3D data through automated and manual stages, as well as exporting data to customer facing formats.

Our Computer Vision team has doubled in size over the past year, and we’re looking for a strong engineering manager to keep that momentum healthy and sustainable. You’ll partner with our current CV leader to split the growing roster into focused pods, establish clear ownership boundaries, and ensure the team’s research breakthroughs continue to land in production on predictable cadences.

In this role, you’ll hire, coach, and retain top vision talent. You'll lead a core team with an outsized impact, owning and scaling a key product line at Hover. You’ll split your time between strategic leadership—shaping the roadmap, scaling processes, and mentoring ICs—and hands-on engagement with cutting-edge 3D computer vision technology.
