You take exterior photos of the home from the ground — typically 8 or more, covering all four elevations. Hover processes the photos and builds a 3D model of the property. From that model, we extract precise measurements: total square footage, per-facet breakdown, pitch angles, and all linear measurements for every ridge, hip, valley, eave, and rake.

Hover has been recognized by Haag Engineering for measurement accuracy. We deliver 285 measurements per property on average and within 2-5% accuracy. Ground-based photos capture dormers, soffits, fascia, and other features that aerial imagery can miss. When materials need to be ordered and margins need to be protected, the accuracy difference is significant.
